RDOC are pleased to host DogsNZ “Train the Trainer” Seminar with Karen Sadler on the 1st December.
Open to all who are interested in learning about training others in domestic dog training.

Nicky Hale Training Seminars share
RDOC are excited to welcome Nicky Hale from the UK back to judge at our Obedience Championship show in January 2019. Nicky will be presenting 3 seminars while in NZ. 2 of these are focused on Domestic dog training and one on Competitive Handling techniques. What Classes Are We Wanting and When?? share
Hi Everyone,
All members are invited to a meeting in the Rotorua Dog Obedience clubrooms on Tuesday 12th June at 6.00pm to discuss and plan what classes our members are wanting run over the next 12 months and planning to ensure the programme is targeted to members needs and sustainable.
We would like as much input as we can from all of our members and our trainers. We would also like to hear from anyone who is interested in helping with running classes by either taking a class or being the support person to assist a trainer with their class.
Classes we are thinking of holding are:
- Pet Dog basic obedience,
- Canine Good Citizen Basic ( follow on from Pet Dog),
- Canine Good Citizen Bronze/Silver/Gold
- Noseworx,( Teaching dogs to search for smells)
- Tricks Training
- Agility Foundation
- Agility Starters, Agility Senior
- Rally-O,
- Competition Obedience
We would love to see everyone at our meeting, but if you cannot make it, for planning purposes, please email me with what classes you would like to participate in over the next 12 months.

AGM Meeting - 1st of May 2018 share
The Rotorua Dog Obedience Club hereby gives notice of the Annual General Meeting to be held
on the 1st of May at 6.30pm at the club rooms on Bennetts Road Rotorua. The club will be
providing a hot supper at the beginning of the meeting.
BUSINESS AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WILL INCLUDE:
-
> The receipt from the Committee of the Annual Report and Balance sheet.
> Election of Officers of the club and the Committee for the ensuing year.
> Life membership elections
> Fix subscriptions for the ensuing year
> Any other general business to the meeting
No nominations for life membership have been received by the secretary. If you wish to nominate
any member for life membership please notify the secretary by Friday the 20th of April. Any
nominations received will be notified to members by Monday the 23rd of April.
All members are reminded that subs must be paid on or before the AGM for members to be
eligible to vote.
The subs:
- Single $70 with a $10 discount if paid before the AGM
Family $95 with a $10 discount if paid before the AGM
Please note all Key holders are required to hand in their key at the meeting so they can be
reallocated.
